John W. Redmond, MD is Medical Director of Eye Health Professionals, PC.  Dr. Redmond was born in Sterling IL and graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO in 1972.  He completed an internship at The Cleveland Clinic and returned to Saint Louis University for his residency in ophthalmology.  He entered private practice in Connecticut in 1976.   Dr. Redmond currently serves as Chairman of the Ophthalmology Section within the Surgery Department at MidState Medical Center.  He is also a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  He is an active member of the Connecticut Society of Eye Physcians, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the New Haven County Medical Association. 

Dr. Redmond specializes in cataract surgery and facial rejuvenation procedures such as eye lid lifts (blepharoplasty) and Botox® - see our Cosmetic Procedures section.  Dr. Redmond lives in Wallingford with his wife Marie.  They have four adult children.
